A hand to Children

For several years, Inger Ellen Nicolaisen and several of her colleagues traveled to the Globos Namai orphanage in Lithuania, and the children at the orphanage had several hundred “aunts” in Norway through the employees of Nikita Hair.
Inger Ellen Nicolaisen saw that her work was helping the children, and her desire to help more led her to found the A hand foundation on November 15, 2000.
November 2000 she founded the foundation A hand to children.

Our goal is to give orphaned and abandoned children a better life and hope for the future.

We do this by supporting various projects where we know that our contributions reach children in need with food, clothing and help in crisis situations.
Through careful selection, close follow-up and conversations with the enthusiasts for the various projects, we are confident that we are achieving the foundation’s goals.

The foundation invites both individuals and companies to help influence children’s lives and give “A hand of hope”.
Many of our employees support the foundation’s work personally, in addition to the various companies in Raise-Gruppen AS contributing annually.

The foundation's board of directors

All the work of the foundation is done on a voluntary basis and the foundation’s board consists of dedicated people who really want to make a difference in children’s lives.
