In 2020, the Foundation contacted a fantastic organization run by a woman with a big heart and a strong commitment to “paying it forward”.
The Heart 4 Kids organization was founded by Cechell Oftedal, who, like the children she helps, grew up as a street child in Manila, the capital of the Philippines with almost 1,800,000 inhabitants.

Over time, Heart 4 Kids has helped thousands of street children with food, clothing, medicine, schooling and equipment.

2020 was a particularly difficult year in the Philippines, with major consequences of both the pandemic and extreme weather.
In collaboration with Heart 4 Kids, we were able to help provide 500 families with food, water, medicine and other equipment.
We were also able to provide Christmas gifts for the children in 500 families, and 1000 families received weekly food.

The organization’s 40 volunteers do amazing work that has a ripple effect on many children’s hopes for a better future.
